Londoners love veganism and vegetarianism - and so do we. It may come as no surprise that London has the highest proportion of vegans and vegetarians throughout the UK (over-indexing 3x as many!) And despite harmful stereotyping, those experiencing homelessness continue to honour beautiful practices and principles that they rightfully hold dear.
Each of the Christmas dinners we serve are bespoke to individual dietary requirements - that's why it's so important to launch our shop early and get ahead operationally. But we think it’s extra important to align with our supporters values too. This gift ensures your Christmas Dinner is vegan (or vegetarian), and given to someone who also shares that practice. If you have a preference on which, please include in the message of support.

Donations from UK taxpayers benefit from the UK Government’s Gift Aid scheme. For every £1 donated, we (Single Homeless Project) can claim an additional 25p from the Government at no additional cost to you.
By agreeing to Gift Aid, you understand that in the very unlikely event you pay less income/capital gains tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all donations in the tax year, it may be your responsibility to pay the difference. We ask you notify the charity of any changes to your tax status.

Is this an actual gift?
Yes, your purchase will ensure someone experiencing homelessness is able to receive products and services necessary to their bespoke needs. You donate the average price of the listed product or service as a "virtual gift", and we deliver the real things across London on (or for some gifts, around) Christmas Day!

Why should I leave a message of support?
Homelessness is a particularly challenging, lonely and dangerous experience for our clients. Making them feel less alone helps them on their journey - especially during Christmas.
That's why we ask you to leave a message of support with your gift - these messages really do make a huge difference, but they are not compulsory. Please consider adding on a Christmas card for £1, so your message is presented in an extra-special way. Sadly, the majority of our clients won't receive a card this year otherwise.

We began in 1975 when a group of six homeless Londoners teamed up to create the change they wanted to see. An end to rough sleeping – and a city where everyone has a place to call home and the chance to live a fulfilling life.
Today, we are the largest homeless charity dedicated to helping Londoners in crisis. Every year, we help over 10,000 Londoners leave homelessness behind, to be seen, to be heard, and to find a place to call home.
