How Shop For Good works

We are the Single Homeless Project (Charity Number: 287779) and have been operating since 1975. All the items on our shop represent actual urgently-needed products and services that you can fund. Your purchase (and any Gift Aid contribution) will be prioritised in funding the distribution of the product or service you buy.

After choosing the product you'd like to donate, you have the option to leave a message of support for a homeless Londoner. We encourage you to do so. It makes a huge difference to our our client/s receiving your kind gesture. To do this, visit the product page of the gift you'd like to purchase, fill out the box below "Optional - leave a message of support and we'll deliver it alongside your gift:", (select any add on's and your Gift Aid status) and press the "Donate" button for it to be added to your cart (found top right of your page). Note, if you click "Donate" on the Browse All Gifts page, without entering the individual product page, you cannot leave a message of support. Please click into the product page by clicking its name or photo. 

Each virtual gift you buy represents the approximate value of said gift. The priority will be to use your purchase to fund our distribution of the product or service you buy. In the unlikely instance there is a significant surplus of one gift, but a shortfall elsewhere, we have the discretion to distribute funds accordingly.
